The location was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, in the heart of Dinkelsbuehl. This hotel was located in a quiet area. Great-sized rooms with a modern bath and exceptional service - just as I expected🙂

Close to restaurants offering free wine tasting and the old center of Dinkelsbuehl. Comfortably furnished and elegant units with great views. - A lot of fabulous food available at breakfast time

Historic common area and exterior, but the room was very new, clean, and comfortable. The room was large with big bed and living area. The bathroom was modern and large with all amenities one would wish for. Hotel staff was polite and hard working.
Perhaps, a little under staffed though it did not cause any inconvenience as staff seems to work extremely diligently.

Decor in public areas was nice, but disappointing in room. Wi-Fi didn't work in our room Parking is not free. Breakfast was really lacklustre Service was very slow , just not enough staff I think. Beware if you have mobility problems..........stairs are long and steep..

we got in very very late (ie 2am) - had called to alert receptionist who was super in attitude & service when we did finally show up. really enjoyed the historical; old fashioned, quirky feel of the hotel. Lovely place, perfectly reflects the atmosphere of dinkelsbuhl. Just wish we were able to stay for a meal!

The hotel is ideally located in the small town of Dinkelsbuhl along the Romantic Road in Germany. The room was large and comfortable, with a view of the cathedral. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent. The decor in the public areas - beautiful rugs, a knight's armor and stone statues - effectively conveys the historic ambience of this 500 plus year old hotel.
The parking charge of eight euros a day is a bit excessive. The pipes in the bathroom emitted an unpleasant odor. Despite the hotel's age, this should be remedied.

The service here is top-notch, they really go above and beyond. The room is beautiful—you'll love the bathroom, plus you get some pretty spectacular views from there. Oh, and let's not forget about the TV! 📺

It is a historic building and the interior is lovely and even a little bit funky with the suits of armor and Madonna figures, etc. The breakfast is great. Valet parking for only 8 euros.
The bathroom was not lit very well and there was no curtain or screen to keep the shower spray off of the floor.
